significantly to the development of our system for the
protection of intellectual property rights. With 20,035
total members as of 8/31/00 (17,295 Lawyer members,
753 Associate members, 1,987 Law student members), the
Section is the largest intellectual property organization
in the world. |

Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) |
The American
Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) is a 13,000
member, national bar association constituted primarily
of lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government
service, and in the academic community. The AIPLA represents
a wide and diverse spectrum of individuals, companies
and institutions involved directly or indirectly in
the practice of patent, trademark, copyright and unfair
competition law, as well as other fields of law affecting

The AIPLEF is a collaboration

of all commercial insurance agencies and brokerage firms.
Only the top one percent of all agents and brokers qualify.
The Council's members place 80 percent of all U.S. insurance

IPO is the only association that represents the interests

from bar associations by focusing exclusively on protecting

members, IPO does not deal with issues relating to

possible range of interests in ownership:
- Organizations and individuals,
- Manufacturers and parties to licenses and assignments,
- People interested in patents, trademarks, copyrights,

personalized insurance related services to each individual
client. Although partner companies may vary in size,
they never vary in their commitment to quality and client

practice of retail collection law. NARCA's goals,
in priority order, include:

- Education.NARCA currently serves 600 law firms
engaged in the business of retail debt collection.

| National Insurance Industry
Association |
The National Insurance Industry
Association is a Not-For-Profit association formed in
1973 to address the need to exchange ideas and experiences
of minority professionals working in the insurance industry.
The objectives of N.I.I.A. are : to serve as an information
resource , to provide self development forums, to encourage
continuing education, and to extend professional support
and encouragement so that N.I.I.A. Members & Friends
might enhance their knowledge and skills and thereby
their opportunities. In an effort to attract dedicated
and motivated candidates to the Insurance Industry ,over
the years N.I.I.A. has provided scholarship funds to
minority students enrolled at the College of Insurance.
The proceeds from the Annual Awards Luncheon are the
primary source of funding for Scholarships and the chapters
operating expenses. |

A non-profit, professional
business organization representing Certified Public
Accountants. With 14,000 members throughout the state,
the NJSCPA is one of the largest and oldest state CPA
societies. Since its founding in 1898, the mission has
been to serve the needs of its members, the business
community and the public.

and marketing require its recognition as a distinct
class of insurance; and the interdependence of insurers,
producers, legal professionals, and consumers requires
a mutual understanding of the fundamentals of professional

capabilities benefit clients who have national, international
